RSA software (soft) token users.


Scenario/Use case:

This article provides instructions on how to install the RSA and import your software token.


Instructions:

Before installing the RSA software token app, there are some important details that you will need.

Installing RSA SecureID Software Token app on:

 

iOS - Install RSA app and Import software token

  1. Open "App Store"
  2. Search for "RSA SecureID Software Token". 
  3. Click "Get" to install the "RSA SecureID Software Token" app.
    IMPORTANT: There are other RSA apps so ensure you are installing the correct RSA app.


  4. Open the RSA app and on the License Agreement window, click the "Accept" button.


  5. Open the email from the Service Desk and copy the link in the email

  6. Go back to the RSA app and on the "Welcome" screen, click on the plus icon in the lower left.


  7. Click "Enter Link".


  8. Paste the link and click "Submit".


  9. Click "OK" when the token has been successfully been imported.

 

Android - Install RSA app and Import software token

  1. Open the "Play Store".
  2. Search for "RSA SecureID Software Token". 
  3. Click "Get" to install the "RSA SecureID Software Token" app.
    IMPORTANT: There are other RSA apps so ensure you are installing the correct RSA app. 


  4. Open the RSA app and on the License Agreement window, check the box and then click the "Continue" button.


  5. Open the email from the Service Desk and copy the link in the email.

  6. Go back to the RSA app and on the "Welcome" screen, click on the "Import Token" in the lower left.


  7. Click "Import URL".


  8. Paste the link and click "IMPORT".


  9. Click "OK" when the token has been successfully been imported.
