Intended for:

Zoom meeting hosts that have participants who dial in by phone.

Scenario/Use case:

This article contains instructions on how to enable passwords for meetings.  As of July 18, 2020, all Zoom meetings, including meetings that were scheduled prior to the recent password enforcement changes, will require passwords including a numeric password for people who dial in via phone.

Details:

The phone number password will be a numeric-only, Zoom-generated password that cannot be changed.  The Zoom-generated invite will look something like this:

Description automatically generated

Once a participant dials into the meeting, they will be prompted to enter the phone-in password for that meeting.
