This article provides instructions on how to manage participants in a Zoom meeting.

1. Click Manage Participants.

2. The Participants screen will appear. On this screen, you can:

    • Mute on Entry will mute audio when participants join the meeting.
    • Play Enter/Exit Chime will play a chime whenever a person enters or exits a meeting.
    • Lock Meeting will not allow any new participants to join the meeting.

 

3. Scroll over a meeting participant’s name to see the options to Mute or Unmute the participant.

 

4. Scroll over a meeting participant’s name to see the option to Rename the screen name of the participant. Click Rename, type in the new name, and click OK.
