ServiceNow - How to access Network Node Registration forms 



Intended for:

Individuals who need to register node names, IP addresses, aliases, etc.



Scenario/Use case:

Access the forms to register node names, IP addresses, aliases, etc. As of Dec. 1, 2021, these forms have moved to ServiceNow.



Instructions:

Using ServiceNow Classic View

NOTE: The picture below is from the ServiceNow Development instance. The menu will be a different color when accessing the forms following the Dec. 1 upgrade.

1. Log in to ServiceNow Classic View at https://fermi.servicenowservices.com

2. In the Filter Navigator Window, begin typing "Catalog." 

3. Click on the link, Service Request Catalog.

4. In the Service Request Catalog, look for the Network section and choose the appropriate registration form.

Using ServiceNow Portal View

NOTE: The picture below is from the ServiceNow Development instance. The menu will be a different color when accessing the forms following the Dec. 1 upgrade.

1. Log in to ServiceNow Portal View at https://servicedesk.fnal.gov

2. In the search box, type "network registration:"

3. From the subsequent search results, choose the appropriate form:
