How to submit a Material Move Request


Intended for:

Users who need to submit a Material Move Request (MMR).



Scenario/Use case:

This article provides instructions on how to submit a Material Move Request using the Service Desk web portal.



Instructions:

NOTE: These instructions provide general instructions about how to access the MMR form. For more detailed instructions on how to fill out an MMR request, read the Material Move Request (MMR) Documentation.


1. Log in to the Service Desk web portal at http://servicedesk.fnal.gov using your Services account user name and password.

2. Type "material move" or  “MMR” in the search box and click SEARCH.

 


3. In the search results that appear, click Material Move Request.

 


If you need to CLONE a previous MMR, or if you ha, access Classic View and perform the actions as you have in the past.

4. Complete the form and submit.

Note: After submitting an MMR request, you can view your MMR request by clicking My Tickets on the Service Desk web portal landing page. Your MMR request will have a truck icon on the left. Click the truck icon to print your MMR or view the details of the MMR.
