RSA: How to install RSA soft token on Android and iOS (iPad/ iPhone)

Intended for:

RSA software (soft) token users.

Scenario/Use case:

This article provides instructions on how to install the RSA and import your software token.

Instructions:

Before installing the RSA software token app, there are some important details that you will need:

• When you request an RSA software token, the Service Desk will email you a "link". You must have access to that link, from your mobile device, to import your software token in the RSA app.  
  
  Before you can use your RSA software token, your will need to create a PIN. For more information on setting your PIN, please see How to set up your PIN for an RSA token.
• If you uninstall the RSA app at any time, get a new mobile device, or delete your token from the app, you MUST open a Service Desk ticket to re-issue a software token.

Installing RSA SecureID Software Token app on:

• iOS
• Android

iOS - Install RSA app and Import software token

1. Open the "App Store" app.
2. Search for "RSA SecureID Software Token". 
3. Click Get to install the "RSA SecureID Software Token" app.
   IMPORTANT: There are other RSA apps, so ensure that you are installing the correct RSA app.
   
   
   
4. Open the RSA app and on the License Agreement window, click Accept.
   
   
   
5. Open the email from the Service Desk and copy the link in the email.
   
   
6. Go back to the RSA app and on the "Welcome" screen, click on the plus icon in the lower left.
   
   
   
7. Click Enter Link.
   
   
   
8. Paste the link, and click Submit.
   
   
   
9. Click OK when the token has been successfully been imported.
   

Android - Install RSA app and Import software token

1. Open the "Play Store" app.
2. Search for "RSA SecureID Software Token". 
3. Click Get to install the "RSA SecureID Software Token" app.
   IMPORTANT: There are other RSA apps so ensure that you are installing the correct RSA app. 
   
   
   
4. Open the RSA app and on the License Agreement window, check the box, and then click Continue.
   
   
   
5. Open the email from the Service Desk and copy the link in the email.
   
   
6. Go back to the RSA app and on the "Welcome" screen, click Import Token in the bottom left corner of your screen.
   
   
   
7. Click Import URL.
   
   
   
8. Paste the link, and click IMPORT.
   
   
   
9. Click OK when the token has been successfully been imported.
