Scenario/Use case:
User is having issues using Employee Payroll Self Service on a Linux computer
Instructions:
Linux users: If you are having issues accessing Employee Self Service, you can use the terminal server to access the site by following these instructions:
- Verify you have rdesktop installed on your Linux Desktop
- Login to a terminal window and enter rdesktop –u username@services.fnal.gov fermi-pay
- Select the "Login to Employee Payroll Self-Service" link.
- Login with your PeopleSoft ID and password
To print your paystub (or other information) from the terminal server:
- You must use a secure print queue. Information about how to set up the terminal server to print to the secure print queue is available in this article
- A list of secure printers by organization is here
- If you are not at the laboratory, you can take a screen shot from your local computer and print the captured image.
