What is Focused Inbox? Where did Clutter go?
- Focused Inbox separates your Inbox into two tabs: Focused and Other. It is an extension and replacement of the Clutter feature and is being implemented on Office 365 Exchange Online during the month of October 2016.
- Clutter attempted to learn which messages you do not care about and placed them into a separate folder. Focused Inbox attempts to learn which messages to do care about and identifies them in your Inbox. Your Inbox will be displayed with two tabs: Focused and Other.
- If you disabled Clutter in your mailbox, then Focused Inbox will be disabled when it is implemented. If you left Clutter enabled, then Focused Inbox will be enabled by default.
- When Clutter is replaced by Focused Inbox, no new messages will be added to the Clutter folder. The Clutter folder will not disappear, so you can choose to leave messages in Clutter or you can move them to another folder.
- Focused Inbox is scheduled to be implemented by Microsoft sometime in October.
- Please refer to the following Microsoft articles regarding Focused Inbox:

How can I put all unread email messages into one folder?
- You can create a Search Folder in Microsoft Outlook. A Search Folder is a virtual folder that provides a view of all email items that match specific search criteria. For example, the "Unread Mail" Search Folder enables you to view all unread messages in one folder, even though the messages might be saved in different folders.

Deleted Items
Can I recover an email message that is accidentally deleted in Outlook if the "Deleted Items" folder is already emptied?

If you are unable to locate/recover it using the self-service procedures, then it has been purged from the system and we have no way to restore it for you.
