How to set up eduroam on a Mac computer

Users who want to set up eduroam on their Mac computer.

Scenario/Use case:

This article provides instructions on how to set up eduroam on your Mac computer.

Instructions:

1. Open up Network application in System Preferences.

2. Click Advanced...

 3.  Click the + icon to add a new network.

 4. Enter the following information:

• Network Name: eduroam -OR- eduroam-test.
• Security: Any (Enterprise).
• Mode: Automatic.
• Username: <username>@SERVICES.FNAL.GOV.
• Password: <your Fermilab Services Account password>.

Then click OK.

5. To connect to eduroam, select "eduroam" from the "Network Name" drop-down list. If the eduroam network is available, it should connect automatically.
