How to add or change an alternative email address using the Password Reset Tool

This article provides instructions on how to add or change an alternative non-Fermilab email address using the Password Reset Tool.
Instructions:
BEFORE YOU BEGIN:
1. You must
You must have one of the following to use the Password Reset tool:
- RSA token - obtain by following these instructions
- YubiKey - reserved for employees who have access to the lab’s business or financial systems
- CILogon certificate – See instructions on how to get an import into your browser a CILogon certificate
- Kerberos ticket – See instructions on how to configure a browser to use Kerberos and how to use a Kerberos ticket
2. You must enroll each account in the Password Reset Tool. Once enrolled, you do not need to repeat this step.
Once you have completed these steps, you can access the Password Reset Tool.
TO USE THE PASSWORD RESET TOOL:
1. Log in to the Password Reset Tool.
2. Click the "Enrollment" tab at the top.
3. Click Add Email to add another non-Fermilab email address.
4. Enter the new email address, and click Send Code. Then enter the code you've received via that email address and click Verify Code.
4. Click on the pencil icon to remove an email address if you do not want to use that email address or want to use a different one.
5. To remove that email address, click the Remove Mail.
NOTE: You cannot remove an email address if you only have one alternate email address set up. You will need to set up a new email address first and then remove the old email address.
