Web Request Process Overview
The web request process manages the website lifecycle (see the detailed lifecycle diagram below) including:
- Requesting and implementing a new site
- Requesting content go-live
- Annual content review
- Updating site ownership and contact information
- Obtaining special exemptions
- Decommissioning a site
We are using a single form to drive this process, called Web Hosting Request. You will use this form to request a centrally hosted website, a SharePoint site, or a DocDB site. You can also use this form to register your self-hosted website to ensure that your website is compliant with the Fermilab Web Governance Policy and Policy on Computing available at https://policies.fnal.gov.
