How to join a Zoom meeting from a computer, a mobile device or a phone

This article provides instructions on how to join a Zoom meeting from a computer, a mobile device or a phone.

Connect by computer:
1. If you were sent an invitation to a meeting, click on the link to join the meeting.
- First time Zoom users will be prompted to install the Zoom desktop application. To do so, click Run on the bottom of your web browser. After the installation is complete, enter your name and click Join.
- All other Zoom users will be prompted to run the launcher, which will open the meeting on your desktop application. Select Zoom Meeting and click OK if a launch application windows opens up.
2. If you were only given the Meeting ID or Meeting Room Name (i.e. 630840 3000orhttps://zoom.us/my/johndoe):
a. Join by using your Zoom Desktop Application:
- Open and sign in to Zoom.
- On your home screen, click Join.
- Enter the meeting ID or meeting room name
- Enter your name and click Join.
b. Join by going to www.zoom.us/join
Connect by Smartphone/Tablet:
1. Download the Zoom application for your device.
- iOS- iTunes
- Android- GooglePlay
2. Launch the Zoom app.
3. Select Join a Meeting.
4. Enter the Zoom Meeting ID and your name.
5. Click the Join.
Connect by telephone:
1. Dial local number.
- Look in the email invite if one was received.
- List of dial-in numbers by countries:https://zoom.us/zoomconference.
2. You will be prompted to enter the meeting ID (9 or 10 digit ID). The meeting ID should have been provided by the host.
3. You will then be prompted to enter your unique participant ID (Press # to skip).
