FermiWorks - How to log in
Intended for:
FermiWorks (Workday) users
Scenario/Use case:
This article describes two ways to log in to FermiWorks (Workday):
- Option 1: If you have Services account and a Fermilab-issued YubiKey/RSA token, log in with your Services account together with your YubiKey PIN or RSA token passcode.
- Option 2: For all others, log in with your Workday username and password.
Instructions:
Go to https://fermiworks.fnal.gov and click the Log in to FermiWorks link on the left.
Note: If you are offsite and not connected to VPN, you will be redirected to the Fermilab Single Sign-On (SSO) page to log in before you can access this website.
Option 1: Services account log in
- Select the Services account log in option.
- You will be prompted to enter your Services account username and password.
- For this step, there are two paths that may be presented to you:
- YubiKey - If you have a YubiKey and it is plugged into your computer, you will be prompted to select a certificate. Select the "FERMI Sub CA" certificate and click OK. You will then be presented with the Smart Card window where you enter your YubiKey PIN and click OK.
- RSA token - If you do not want to use your YubiKey or do not have a YubiKey, you will be prompted to enter your username and RSA token passcode.
- When you see the following screen, either select Remember this device and click Submit or click the Skip link. You will see your FermiWorks landing page.
Option 2: FermiWorks log in
- Select the FermiWorks log in option.
- You will be prompted to enter your Workday account username and password.
Note: If you forget your Workday password, you can click the Forgot Password? link to reset it.
- When you see the following screen, either select Remember this device and click Submit or click the Skip link. You will see your FermiWorks landing page.
