How to check your Zoom client version

 

Intended for:

Zoom users.

 


Scenario/Use case:

Zoom is upgrading its software, and after May 30, Zoom will not work on machines that do not have at least version 5.0. To check which version of Zoom you have, see below.

 


Details:

On Windows computers

  1. Open your Zoom client on your computer.
  2. Click on your avatar in the upper right.
  3. Click Help.
  4. Click About Zoom.

    You must have Zoom version 5.0 or above installed in order to use Zoom after May 30. See this KB article about how to upgrade your Zoom client on Windows.

Windows - how to check your Zoom version

On Mac computers

  1. Open the Zoom client on your computer.
    2. In your toolbar, click on zoom.us.
    3. Click About Zoom.
