How to check your Zoom client version

Intended for:

Zoom users

Scenario/Use case:

Check Zoom desktop client version. If you haven’t updated your Zoom client to version 5.17.5 or higher by March 1, 2024, you will be prompted to do so when you try to start or join a Zoom meeting. Since this may delay your meeting, we advise you to update your Zoom client as soon as possible. To check which version of Zoom you have, see below.

Details:

On Windows computers

  1. Open your Zoom client on your computer.
  2. Sign in to your Zoom client if you are not already signed in.
  3. Click on your profile picture in the upper right.
  4. Click Help.
  5. Click About Zoom.

You must have Zoom version 5.17.5 or above installed in order to use Zoom after March 1, 2024. See this KB article on how to upgrade your Zoom client on Windows.
