Resetting your Employee Payroll Self-Service password
Intended for:
Users who need to reset their Employee Payroll Self-Service password.
Scenario/Use case:
This article provides instructions on how to reset your Employee Payroll Self-Service password.
Instructions:
If you have not logged in to the Employee Payroll Self-Service portal for a long time or if you encounter any problems with your password, you may need to click the “Forgot your password?” link on the login page to reset your password, as this password expires after 180 days.
After you enter your User ID and answer your security question, the system will send you an email with the new password (usually within 30 seconds to one minute).
- If you can’t find such an email in your inbox, please check your “Clutter” or “Junk Email” folders.
- Also, if you want to copy the password from your email to the password field, make sure to remove any trailing white spaces.
- If you have a 4-digit ID badge number, you must add a leading "0." (Any time your badge ID number is less than 5 digits it must be padded on the left with a leading zero for each missing position.)
- If you do not receive your replacement password, submit a Service Desk request to have your profile updated to enable email and update your email address.
Note: Your account will be locked by the system after three failed attempts to log in. You continuously get an "invalid userid, password" type message after you have entered it wrong more than twice. You will need to submit a Service Desk General Request ticket so the support team can unlock your account.
